Discovering Fire by Adrianna Davis

Reality snapped her back. She had no one. She was utterly alone.
The knife was calling her name, begging to skate across her tight, clear, milky white skin. The red substance that came out of her opened skin was so enticing. It excited her, made her feel alive. Her heart raced, her head pounded. Sapphire turned on the shower, hot water only. She felt as her pores opened up and blood flowed. Water to wine, she thought sarcastically. She stood there, letting the water burn her skin. She didn’t care that small, red blisters were forming on her body. She got out, and without a towel or any clothes, she laid down in her bed and tried for sleep.
